If you need a letter from the Graduate School for a specific purpose that is not satisfied by the Enrollment Verification produced by the Registrar's Office (usually for a government agency), come to the Graduate School office in 130 Snell and complete a "Letter Request Form" providing all the details you are requesting to be in the letter. Be sure to tell us the reason you are requesting the letter. If you are unable to come in to the Graduate School office, send an email through this student services support center with all the details of your request.
Note: Letter requests are completed within 5 to 7 business days. You will be notified when your letter is ready.
Types of letters produced by the Graduate School:
- SGA appointment verification
- Letter of Completion (for students who have completed their graduate degree program, where the degree has not yet been posted to the official transcript by the University)
Types of letters not produced by the Graduate School:
-Enrollment Verification (request via the Registrar's website)
-Letters of Invitation for international visitors (consult the Office of Global Services website)
-Letters that include information on course content, skills obtained during graduate degree, etc. These requests should be made to the student's department or director of the degree program completed.
