For most programs, the GRE is required, except for applicants who have received or will receive a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program from a college or university that is located within the U.S. Institution code is 3665; no department code is needed. As an exception all applicants to Bioengineering programs are required to take the GRE, and all applicants to Electrical & Computer Engineering programs are required to take the GRE (except applicants who have received or will receive a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Northeastern University located in Boston). Applicants to the Energy Systems program are exempt from the GRE if they have earned a 3.00 GPA or higher and received their undergraduate degree from a US institution. The Graduate School of Engineering does not accept the GMAT in lieu of the GRE.
You may complete and submit your application before you take the GRE. You should, however, take the GRE no later than the application deadline.
Please instruct ETS to send the official score report to us at institution code 3665 (no department code is required).
If you are not required to complete the GRE, please leave these field blank on your application.
