Do I have to submit a GRE score? What if I have the GMAT?

Last Updated: Oct 28, 2016 01:43PM EDT
We require a GRE score unless you graduated (or will graduate) from an ABET-accredited undergraduate engineering program (excluding "engineering technology" programs) at a university located in the United States.

Please note that all Bioengineering and Electrical &Computer Engineering applicants must submit a GRE score regardless of their undergraduate institution/degree (unless they hold a BS in engineering from Northeastern).

Engineering Management and Information Systems applicants may submit the GMAT in lieu of the GRE. Note that both programs have technical courses and a high level of math is vital.  The Graduate School of Engineering doesn't have a code for the GMAT so please upload a scanned copy of your GMAT scores in your application and the scores will be evaluated.

If you are not required to provide a GRE score, simply leave these fields blank in the application when you apply.

ALIGN applicants are not required to submit a GRE score. Please note that you are ineligible for ALIGN if you hold (or will hold) an undergraduate engineering degree.

You may complete and submit your application before you take the GRE. You should, however, take the GRE no later than the application deadline.

Please instruct ETS to send the official score report to us at institution code 3665 (no department code is required).
